Charles S. Fadley

It is with a heavy heart that I write this post. Charles S. Fadley has passed away. The world has lost a brilliant scientist, a giant who raised the pillars upon which the field of photoemission is built. I feel honored for all the opportunities, however brief, I had to meet Chuck and work with him. His legacy will live forever within the generations of scientists he brought up.
